Development Process

Initial Consultation

We will meet with you in person, via email, or phone; and take the time to get to know your business and what the needs and goals are to effectively create an online presence for your company.

Written Proposal

We will go back to our office and put together a written proposal, which will include a vision of costs, design, content and the timeline that we understand you need.  We generally provide our written proposals via email, which can then be reviewed together in person if you would prefer.

Agreement

A representative from your company and ours will sign a mutual agreement on the proposed project.

Content Request

At this time we will request any Brand items such as logos, colors, images.  The website design is generally based on these important parts of your business. Although written content isn't required until further into the project, now is a good time for you to start putting it together. 

Design Concepts

We will design and propose one to three design concepts for you to choose from.  They will be proposed via email as a .jpg image.

Presentation

At this time we will present the design concepts and discuss other parts of the website process with you.  This can be done in person or via email, whatever works best for you.  We will offer basic content suggestions, a visual of the navigation structure, a timeline, briefly view the maintenance packages for the future, and answer any other questions you might have.

Design and Development

We will now begin the development of your website.  This is the time when we will request that you gather and organize content for the website as it will be required to move forward with the next step. This step will include setting up the domain name and hosting account, convert the approved design to html, set up the menu structure, and the template, which will now be ready for content.

Content Implementation

We have received the content and will begin to implement it.  As we go along, depending on the package you've chosen, we will offer suggestions on how to format the content to increase search engine rankings.  Once the content has been implemented, we will complete spell checks, double check basic grammar, then pass the site onto you to review and make sure the content is laid out as you expected.

Final Review and Upload

The site has been completed, all images implemented, content has been added and formatted.  We are now ready to complete the final review. We will double check all links, make sure it is compatible in all browsers, and do a final overview to make sure all of the little things are looked after.  Upon your approval, the site will go live for all to see!

Now that your website is live, it is essential that it is kept current and is promoted.  There are several options that we offer to assist you in making sure your website is effectively maintained.
