The reason custom graphics are a good idea is because they are just that, custom. They are designed to fi t perfectly with your business or organization’s identity and to appeal to your target market. It is one more way to present all of your company’s material together as a whole and adds professionalism and originality to it. Graphics can be custom designed for both print and web applications and will give your company a leg up on the competition.
For Print
These graphics were custom designed for the Assiniboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg. They were designed as part of a children’s map and activity page to be distributed to field trip groups and families with young children that visit the zoo. The purpose was to create a sort of animal scavenger hunt. Once the children have found a certain animals cage they would apply that animals sticker in the correct location on the map. Since it was designed for kids the graphics are very bright, exciting and friendly.
For the Web
For the main page of the Chautauqua Spirit website custom icons were designed to add interest and allow for easy navigation to other pages. The icons are very bright, colourful and simplistic which ties in perfectly with the rest of the website.
